Morgan Battley is an evolutionary writer born from the struggles of Black America in the early 1960s.

 

He is the eighth of fourteen children, youngest of three sons, seven daughters, and the son of second-generation parents freed from slavery, hardworking sharecroppers who advanced themselves and their family to skilled trades, high school, military, and college-educated children and

grandchildren.

Morgan has exercised his faith in God, overcoming poverty, illiteracy, and social struggles, accomplishing graduations from MTI, College of Lake County, and Trinity International University with graduate work done at Olivet Nazarene University and Grand Canyon University.
